Event Types

ONTON lets you host diverse events tailored to your needs. Whether you’re hosting a virtual webinar or an exclusive in-person meetup, we’ve got you covered!

📌 1. Free vs. Paid Events

Free Events – Open to everyone without a fee.
Paid Events – Attendees must purchase a ticket using TON or USDT.

  • Tickets can be NFT-based or cSBT-based.
  • Organizers set the price and ticketing requirements.

📌 2. Online vs. In-Person Events

Online Events – Hosted via live streams, Zoom, Twitter Spaces, Telegram, etc.

  • Add an Event URL for attendees to join.
  • Participants can enter a password (provided by the organizer) to claim their SBT Proof of Attendance.

In-Person Events – Hosted at a physical location.

  • Enter the venue address during event setup.
  • Organizer will scan the Attendee’s QR code at the venue to distribute their SBT Proof of Attendance.

📌 3. Open vs. Registration-Based Events

Open Events – No registration required; anyone can join.

  • Atendees will enter the password in the box on event page during the event.
  • Remember Password can be shared among hunter groups, so people outside the event can claim the SBT.

Registration-Based Events – Attendees must register before attending.

  • Organizer should use Get attendance function, when you use that, all registrants will get a pop-up and have 1 min to enter the password. It’s more fair, so people outside event don’t have enough time to enter the password.
  • Organizers can choose Manual Approval or Auto Approval.
  • Capacity limits and waitlists can be enabled.

📌 4. NFT vs. cSBT Ticketing

NFT Tickets – Unique, tradable blockchain-based tickets.
cSBT Tickets – Soulbound, non-transferable tickets that prove attendance.

💡 Each event type has flexible options to match your audience’s needs. Ready to host? Get started with ONTON now! 🚀
