Organizers on ONTON can issue Soulbound Tokens (SBTs) as proof of attendance for online events. Depending on the event type, there are two methods for attendees to claim their SBTs.
📌 Method 1: Password Entry (For Online Events Without Registration)
🔹 Attendees will see a password entry box on the event page during the event.
🔹 The organizer announces the password, and attendees enter it to claim their SBT.
🔹 Important considerations:
✅ The password must remain active for more than 2 minutes to allow fair participation.
⚠️ However, since the password can be shared outside the event, people who were not actual attendees may claim the SBT.
🚨 Recommendation: If you want a more secure way to issue SBTs, use the POA system available for online events with registration.
📌 Method 2: POA System (For Online Events With Registration) – More Secure
For online events that require registration, ONTON offers a Proof of Attendance (POA) system to ensure that only verified attendees receive the SBT.
How POA System Works
1️⃣ The organizer enables registration during event creation.
2️⃣ During the live event, the organizer announces the password and asks attendees to open the ONTON app.
3️⃣ The organizer goes to Manage Event → Guest List and selects “Get Attendance”.
4️⃣ ONTON sends a pop-up notification to all registered and approved attendees.
5️⃣ Attendees have 1 minute to enter the password and confirm their attendance.
6️⃣ The system verifies attendance and issues the SBT only to those who entered the password in time.
📌 Important Rules for POA System
✅ The organizer can trigger “Get Attendance” up to 4 times during the event.
✅ Do not wait until the last minute to trigger attendance, as there is a 10-minute cooldown between activations.
✅ Attendees must be active on ONTON (anywhere in the app) to receive the pop-up.
📌 Alternative SBT Distribution Methods
If the organizer wants to manually distribute SBTs, there are two additional options:
1️⃣ Issue SBT to All Approved Registrants – Contact ONTON support and request SBT distribution to everyone who registered and was approved for the event.
2️⃣ Issue SBT Based on Telegram User IDs – If the organizer has the list of actual participants’ Telegram user IDs, they can provide the list to ONTON support for direct SBT distribution.
