ONTON provides a secure and transparent ticketing system, ensuring fair policies for refunds and transfers. Below are the rules and processes for handling refunds and ticket transfers based on ticket type.
📌 Refund Policy
🔹 NFT Tickets (Tradable & Collectible)
✅ Refunds are not automatically processed by ONTON. Instead:
- Attendees can resell their NFT ticket on secondary marketplaces if the organizer allows transfers.
- Organizers may offer refunds manually, but it depends on their policy.
🔹 cSBT Tickets (Non-Transferable)
❌ No refunds are available for cSBT tickets, as they are permanently bound to the buyer and cannot be resold.
- Organizers may offer case-by-case refunds, but attendees should check the event’s refund policy before purchasing.
📌 Ticket Transfers & Reselling
🔹 NFT Tickets
✅ Can be transferred or resold if the organizer enables secondary sales.
✅ Buyers can sell their NFT ticket on TON-based marketplaces or privately.
✅ The new owner receives full event access if the transfer is completed before the event.
🔹 cSBT Tickets
❌ Cannot be transferred or resold. These tickets are permanently attached to the attendee’s wallet.
📌 How to Request a Refund (If Allowed)
1️⃣ Check the event’s refund policy on the event page.
2️⃣ If the organizer allows refunds, contact them directly via their organizer profile.
3️⃣ If a refund is granted, the organizer will manually process the transaction.
📢 Reminder: ONTON does not automatically process refunds—this is entirely up to the event organizer.
⚠️ Before buying a ticket, always check the event’s refund and transfer policies. ONTON ensures secure transactions, but all sales are final unless an organizer offers a refund option.
